CAIROX®
potassium permanganate (KMnO4)
is a strong inorganic oxidizing agent. It is
widely used for the treatment of municipal drinking water and wastewater, and also has
some uses in aquaculture. It is widely used
in Industrial processes, for purification of
process water, the treatment of wastewater
streams, primarily for sulfide and
phenol-based impurities, as well as for metal
cleaning.
CAIROX® is
relatively safe to handle (Carus Chemical
provides training for all proper handling
techniques) as compared to other oxidants, and
is also compatible with biological treatment.
