Belmont, NC – U.S. Congressman Patrick McHenry toured Carus Corporation’s Belmont, NC manufacturing facility as part of his recess tour of the state’s 10th district.
While onsite, Rep. McHenry took part in a round-table discussion, learning more about Carus’ history in North Carolina, its role as a local employer, and as a provider of safe drinking water solutions to communities in the state and across the country.
The Congressman took to social media to express his gratitude for the tour, saying that he was fascinated by what he learned.
A 102-year-old company, Carus produces and supplies specialty chemistries, technologies, and services for water treatment, soil remediation, and air purification. Carus is a member of the American Chemistry Council and actively participates in the industry’s award-winning Responsible Care® initiative, sharing a common commitment to improve environmental, health, safety, and security performance.
