Amos Au Joins Carus Water Team

LaSalle/Peru, IL – Carus Corporation is pleased to announce that Dr. Amos Au has joined the Carus as Water Technology Development Manager. Dr. Au will lead the company’s efforts in technology development globally.

He has 25 years of experience in the fields of water engineering, serving as a Water Process Specialist and Project Leader for a variety of studies and design projects in water and wastewater treatment. Amos’ extensive experience and knowledge in water treatment will be a valuable asset to Carus development strategy in the water market. Amos has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.

Amos has served as a member and lecturer of the American Water Works Association, American Chemical Society, International Water Association, and the Water Environment Federation. He has presented and published more than 70 technical papers in professional journals and conferences. He was also involved with the WHO (World Health Organization) on developing drinking water guidelines. As a member of the American Water Works Association, Amos is serving on several national and regional committees.
